Materials

The laminates we use have been designed and manufactured  to a  physical and chemical standard.
The standard is equal to or greater than the international standards established for High Pressure Laminates. (HPL)
The standard used is  NEMA LD3.2005.
The laminate we use is suitable for shop fitting, kitchen benchtops, office furniture and workstations.
Hair dressers have tested this laminate for stain resistance to their dyes and chemicals and have found them to have no effect on it.

Cleaning of laminate

As it has a smooth, non-porous surface, the laminate does
not accumulate dirt.
This product is certified by Microban R.
This makes it difficult for bacteria to proliferate.
It is very easy to look after.
Just wipe down with a damp cloth using household cleaning products.
Do not  use products that contain solvents or any abrasive cleaning agents.

We stock black gloss and white gloss laminate as a standard item. Black and white are neutral and go well with all other colours. So you may choose a white counter and brighten up the reception area with flowers pictures or even painted wall colours.

A tin of colored paint is $50 and a Friday afternoon or a Saturday morning and you can change the whole feeling of the reception area.

Gloss finishes

We also sell matte black and white but the gloss finnish is by far the most popular. If your spending a decent amount of money on a counter you may as well get a finish that has a bit of pizazz to it without breaking the budget.

We supplied this small reception desk counter for a legal firm in Canberra.
It is a customised Brando black and white gloss reception desk counter with light and black stone top.
Some offices are compact but it is essential to make the right impression as customers walk in the door.
This can be done with the right reception  counter.
Small reception counters are not necessarily needed to work at but create a line or meeting or meeting point in your office. The mini Brando is ideal for this.

Small Counters for Small office spaces

We customised this black and white  Brando reception desk counter for our customers small  reception area. Most of our  reception desk counters can be customised for small offices and tight reception counters
The mini Brando counter has a 600mm florescent light which creates a nice effect in between the two front pillars. The light is more contained within the pillars than our  standard Brando counter.

Materials

The materials used in this counter are hard wearing scuff resistant gloss laminate for the front and hob, The bench top or work area top is made from a Matte white hard wearing laminate. All our counters come with a cable entry in the work bench.
The substate used is High Moisture Resistant material.
The light is equipped with a 3 pin plug for easy and quick setup
The size is 1200mm x 1200mm x800mm Deep. The top or hob is 200mm wide x1200 long x 20mm thick Quantum Quartz starlight black .
The legs of the counter provide stability and strength also act as a screen or hideyhole for cables or computer towers. This reception desk counter is easy to reposition with two people.

This week was Brisbane week.  3 delivered counters to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Trade counter

The first counter was one of our trade counters. It had black front panels and black service tops. The counter  for an earth moving machinery company was pre-assembled in our factory then half dis-assembled then sent by furniture removalists to the Gold Coast. This reception counter was custom made. It was sent to Melbourne from Sydney. The picture shows it without the stone top which was being supplied by the customer. This counter was for a doctors office.
With this counter we incorporated a few ideas.
